-Turbine Hall

In this coming edition, STEUR is expanding beyond the building walls to the concrete and surrealistic surroundings of the former turbine hall from the 1930s power plant.

Two internationally recognised residents of M4H, designer Sabine Marcelis and artist Joep van Lieshout will make it their playground to express their creativity and artistic vision in this unique space.

STEUR’s creative community environment allows visitors to explore the artworks and installations, meet the artists personally and engage in various activities like painting workshops, panel talks, interviews and the first-ever STEUR’ed not Shaken artist prize.

-STEUR Garden

The evening program will take place in the newly refurbished STEUR Garden showcasing the country’s prime selectors and visual artists. A great start of cultural summer events in the already beloved outdoor venue.

Utopian. Unreasonable. Superb. Stupid. Splendid. Silly. Bad ass. Preposterous. Nonsensical. Ludicrous. Laughable. Irrational. Preposterous. Iconoclast. Ludicrous. Far out. Impeccable. Illogical. Off the Wall. Goofy. Mind blowing. Foolish. Excellent.
